I'm chaperone for my nephew, so probably can't hang out for long. But I'm confident I've got time for a smoke, whether at a real location or in my hotel parking lot...

I just checked the address for the hockey ring... you're actually like 50 miles north of Joliet out by Elgin. Is this the place? http://www.leafsicecentre.com/

Yes, it's roughly 15 miles from where I'm staying. But seems about right. I'm 10 miles down the highway from the Joliet exit, so I assumed I was closer than that

I often stay around where you are and go to leaf or casa to meet up with people. Joliet is hour or so away. The exit just tells you that's the road to Joliet I think
