Have you ever had a beverage/cigar combo that were perfect companions?

Last night I smoked a flying pig with a 750ml bottle of Trader Joe's 2009 Vintage Ale. The bottle had been aging for almost one year in my beer fridge, I keep at 54 degrees. I normally like to put 12 months on all my special bottles of beer. The beer had hints of coco, citrus and spices. A perfect beer to drink with your flying pig. Since you won't be able to find this limited addition Dark Ale on Lees, I would suggest smoking your Flying Pig with the next closest thing - A Blue Moon with an Orange Wedge.

5 Vegas Gold Churchill and a 2005 Horton Norton. Not a fantastic cigar by any means, but with the wine it becomes fantastic.

Bell's Amber Ale and La Verite is a perfect combination, IMO.

Any Mild-Medium bodied Vitola paired w/ a Belgium Ale (Such as La Chouffe, Duvel, or Delirium Tremens) go great together.

Tat Browns and Crown Royal Cask No. 16 I also find to be a perfect pairing.

A pairing that really clicked one time for me was a Montecristo White with Yellowtail Shiraz. The creamy smooth cigar just hand in gloved it with the character of that wine!

Torano Virtuoso paired with a tumbler of Jack single single barrel did the trick for me this evening. Smoked a Graycliffe crystal with my next to last bottle of 2007 homemade cider. Great pairing!

Partagas 150 with a Greygoose Martini. The light flavor of the aged cigar paired perfect with the martini.

My favorite pairing is any Good aged rum from the place the tobacco came from in the cigar. Examples:

Ron Barcelo Imperial w/ Fuente Anejo
Havana Club 15 w/ Cohiba Siglo IV
Flor de Can Centario 18 YO w/ Padron 1964
If all else fails, I go to the Mount Gay Extra Old

I know it isn't a drink, but I absolutely love to pair cigars with hot peppers. I love to eat fresh hot peppers right off the vine and with still warm and alive taste buds take a nice long draw. A full bodied stick holds up to this very well and the flavor combo is dynamite! Lately I've been pairing a lot of tat unicos with caribbean red habaneros. :clap:

Looks good fellow Brethren! I typically like cranberry & Greygoose with anything I smoke. The cranberry brings out alot of flavor in a few of my sticks!
