We should have clear skies and a moon at 10% illumination this year. Setting up to be a very good show. Find dark skies, look to the NE or find the Constellation Perseus just under Cassiopeia. Peak, maybe 60 to 100 per hour depending on your location will start several hours before dawn.

Since I sold the farm I need to find a new spot, hope it works out!

Yea, 86 degrees and 75% humidity made the sky muddy. Perseus was visible but not directly overhead so the muck filtered out the vast majority of meteors.

The moon will be in the 1st quarter for the Leonids Nov 18 and we normaly have drier skies and bearable temps for them.
