Looks great. Although the lights dont really run that hot it cant be helping the temp problem. Living in FL be prepared to freeze all incoming stock with some of the methods that have been explained in other posts!

Nice . Maybe install a switch so you can turn the lights on/off when you want. Do you need them running full time?

No I agree, it's nice with them running. Maybe just turn them on when you have company or you're wanting a little light to do something...like find a cigar.

I like the look you have created there.

In the uk you can buy the led strip lights on a self adhesive flexible "circuit board". You cut off the length you require from the roll in store.

I used 1 section about 2 " long to light up 1 shelf. Very cheap solution and very unabtrusive.

Or ball it up with a remote switch...
After reading your suggestion, reminded me of the "clap on, clap off" commercials... "Would you like a stick?" "Let me see," as he snapped his fingers twice. Voila! The cabinet lights up. And the guest's reaction is "Holy S***t."... lol.

I like the look! I'm not sure if long exposure to an LED will cause the cigars' wrappers to fade or discolor, meaning the oils in the wrapper slightly evaporate over time.... could be wrong though. Just a small concern.

You need more cigars and boxes in there to take up space, sure will help RH and temps too. Air expells RH and temp more quickly than a solid object.

Perfect timing since I'm waiting for Aristocrat to arrive on Friday. Just curious. Are those battery operated or power ? If latter, how did you connect it to the outlet ?

Gonna agree with Justin on this. Living in hot climates like yourself it's tough to control temps. Most will by cooling humidors or wine fridges. I'd ask Ron if he sells anything that can keep the temp down inside the cabinet. Short of putting it in the basement or an air conditioned room.
