  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Congrats Donny!

I sent an email too, but you must be a funnier guy. Lol..

A local should have some in next week - can't wait to give these a try!

BTW - I had a Don Leoncie Gran Reserve - it was great! It had a (chocolate) milk quality that was really tasty.

I just got done smoking a PDR Oscuro Churchill. It was an excellent smoke to say the least. On to the review... :computer:

As you can see from the pics I posted, the presentation is amazing! The box is a beautiful brown color w/ lots of unique and well executed details. Upon cutting the seal & opening the box, you are presented with a nice gold sticker locking the paper sheet over the sticks. Under the paper, you find a black ribbon tying the bundle down. The oscuro wrapper is a beautiful dark brown color. The labels are beautifully printed and very unique.

So... on to the tasting. Pre-light draw is very unique. I got some notes of wood, leather, & milk chocolate. Toasted the foot & started picking up a lot of complex scents. Very unique stuff... I didn't get a whole lot of smoke from the cigar which might be my only negative comment. I also had some burn issues, but I'm sure some time in the humi will do the trick. Keep in mind that I had just gotten these in the mail a few days prior. All in all, the taste is excellent! The smoke is very complex and gives off a really strong aroma. The finish was not long which I liked and the ash produced was a very nice white that held strong. Awesome smoke!

I will post some more comments after I let them sit for a while...
Thanks again Abe!
