Ok I heard this was selling like hot cakes. I will set up the rules and a new thread in the lottery area when I get off work. Does anyone not like the payout or have any inputs into that? And if we are full we will play at the next powerball drawing so we don't have to wait a month. Sorry for spacing damn phone.

Utah, Here is a set of rules I set up for a lottery on another board over a year ago. I took a little from here a little from there and a dash from me and it worked pretty good. Feel free to use what you want from it. We used the Powerball number. I used a random number generator to pick the numbers each month. 11 can play and if you get 22 then run two games. You can always designate a spot for bombing too. Like say if number 17 pops up and you didnt have enough to fill then number 17 goes to some random victim for everyone to bomb. OpFTH is a organization that sends cigars to the troops. I tried to do a pipe baccy lottery over there and no one was interested. I sent some messages here about starting one but no one replied. Now we have quite a few more pipers.

1. Must be an active member of the forum.
2. Must have completed your n00b/vet trade or at least participated in another noob game. n00b box pass, NoNV, n00b PIB
3. Must only be in the continental U.S. APOs are allowed.
4. Must post in each months thread whether or not your "in" the lottery.
5. 5 cigar minimum payment each month.

How it works
1. Each player will be assigned by me 3 numbers between 2-34. With the numbers 1 being for OpFTH and 35 unused.
2. Total of 11 players, anymore will be placed on a waiting list.
3. The winner each month will be dropped to the end of the waiting list and a new member will be added.
4. The drawing will be the last Saturday of each month. The winning number will be the powerball number from the powerball drawing.
5. The prize is a 5er (no dog rockets) from each of the losing players.

Non payment or failure to pay by the next drawing will get you removed from the game, get you flamed on the board, and beaten senseless by Rams Bat.

It is the winners responsibility to message his/her addy to the losers. It is also the winners responsibility to post nonpayment for all to see.

If the powerball number is 35, then the very next powerball drawing will determine the winner. And the prize is double (10er).

The next drawing will be Saturday August 31st.

ok there is a thread in the lottery section. we are using the mega millions to keep everything the same. 15 people per pool. payout is one sealed tin or at least 3 one ounce samples. i did this cause i think that is a fair payout and it should be small enough for noobs to be able to "buy in" the rules are in the sign up thread and if we fill up a pool i we will do a drawing on tuesday so we dont have to wait a month. i will start a waiting list that will either be another pool or be alternates. i will leave this open for any comments or further talk but after friday i will have it locked down with the first post changed to redirect people. i will take sirspanksalot list from a earlier post so check to see if your name is in before you post.
