This summer I won Grrrr's pipe contest and he hooked me up with a great starter kit. Since then I have been loving smoking a pipe. I can't get into the car without lighting it up. It is now time to purchase a new pipe. What would you guys reccomend? I don't even know what to look for. Thanks for your help. When you guys called this a slippery slope, you weren't kidding!

i have been VERY happy with the briars of alexander zavvos, on ebay (alexander briar?). but i love both sav and nording for factory pipes, and they run the entire line from entry to high-end, grain forward, and collectible.
also, as grrrrr says, being able to handle them does make a difference. if you have a local option, it is probably worth the price difference to have it in paw first.
