  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just wanted to say that this place is wonderful. I sent her 7 pipes to be restored and she called me before she did any work on them. Told me that 2 of them were junk and she could do 5 of them, so I agreed. These were not any great pipes, mostly junk actually, but I wanted something to let out in the shop and if they got damaged, it wouldn't matter. I received them back today and honestly, I thought she sent the wrong pipes back. I couldn't believe they were the same pipes. I also got some baccy and she sent a free sample. Then she left me know that she cleaned the 6th one for free because she thought it may be used after all.image.jpg

that's exactly how I felt, I am going to call her and thank her for doing such a wonderful job.
Dave, she only charged me $20.00 each and I know how much she worked on those pipes. The one had engraving in it and it was so cruddy I didn't know it was there, I thought she honestly sent me the wrong pipe back. These are so nice now. Don't get me wrong, they aren't worth anything, but now they are nice pipes again and they will get used. They were destined for the trash.

no I didn't, I got some pipemakers dream and drummerston. I like the drummerston and hope to try the pipemakers dream this morning. She threw in a small bag of 191, but I am not an aero fan and it smells wonderful, but I am leery of smoking it. I hate that after taste.
