PLPCs: How much time do they need?

Smoked my first one last night, and although I could definitely smoke them now (nothing wrong with a fresh cigar), I can only imagine how they will get better with time. Good thing I have another one on the way to sit on. How much age do you like on these?

Well I have cabs from 01, 03, and 05 and like the 05's the best outta all of them. My 01's seem flat, and the 03's are a bit rough around the edges w/ traces of ammonia. The 05 cab is chocked full o flavor... caramel, tobacco, with a great burn and draw. I have heard that after 04 the blend on these changed, so maybe for my tastes this is why I like the 05 cab so much more...because of the blend.

What years do you have?

I wasn't turned on to habanos until about a year and a half ago, so I am still exploring . The cab I got yesterday is 06. The other is still in the mail, but I'll assume it is an 06 also.

I haven't had one in so long! I think I'll buy a box soon (or maybe do a split if they come in cabs).

Unless they are realllly old you can only find them in cabs. You might as well do a split for the holidays, I'm sure someone will take the other 25 off your hands.

I have a cab of 06's that have 1 month of humi time and they are delicious

I have about 5 sticks left from a previous 06 cab with about 3 months on them and they are significantly better

06s are smoking great. For some reason lots of the 06s are smoking great.

I have some 01s amd 02s and 05s and I think the 06s are smoking better than them all.

Get them and smoke them, maybe mine have not gone through a sick period yet.

I just got done smoking an RASS from 06. Delicious, but I had an empty stomach and it made me spin a bit.
