Just remember, mold is usually hairy. Yep, I used the term hairy, because that's what it looks like, small hairs. Plume is caused by the crystallization of the oils on the cigars and develops after a good period of time at optimum storage conditions. Most of time, people have been posting pics of mold. As long as it's not on the foot, you can usually wipe it off and enjoy the cigar.

The pics of the cigars posted do not really show anything. Perhaps if you took close ups at different angles, we could better give our opinion.
