Heres a quick rundown of my tasting notes...

5 x 36 - Short Panetela (factory name Vegueritos)

Nice musty tobacco on the prelight.

First few puffs taste like a young PLPC.. Sweet and creamy, but a bit darker.
Hints of earthy leather and a mild spice.
Roasted almonds and grassy milk.
Some fresh cedar towards the end.
Finished with a very creamy caramel.

Overall an 88/100.

A very nice, quick cigar that would be excellent in the morning and at $60 for a box they are very hard to beat.

I can say that he is right about these smoking well right now. For $2.40 I don't think you can go wrong.

Nov 11 - they could still use some rest

NOV 2011 on EP21 of the cast (out this week). Very enjoyable, smoking well, some rest will certainly bring them to the next level but smoking well now

Great smoke. The PL Montecarlos is also excellent. Had one last night.

Love the Montecarlos for that citrus flavor. But, the panatelas.... Smoked through almost one box already. Sitting on another box. About to order two more. Yeah, you could say I like them.
