  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Post a pic of your favorite little pipe

I'm thinking about looking for a little pipe. A Savinelli 614 is possibly on the list, but I'm interested in any more compact pipe.

So... post your favorites!

The Top cob only there for Idea of size with normal sized pipe
I would say there are some small pipes out there. All in all the second to the bottom pipe is a Weber Short Snorter, Small pipe large bowl. I have another Briar pipe that is even smaller then these but I can't find it right now. For me problem with small pipes is my hair. Always afraid to burn it.

Funny you should bring this up as I just picked up a few small pipes on Ebay. One is a Dr. Grabow Lark and the other a Tom Thomb. I have yet to smoke either. The Grabow is an estate that I still need to clean up. The finish on the Tom Thomb is a bit rough. There is flash on both the stem and the draft hole that I would like to clean up before smoking. I hope to get to them Sunday. Here is a pic with one of my normal size pips (Kaywoodie Supergrain) for comparison. From top to bottom:

1. Kaywoodie Supergrain
2. Grabow Lark
3. Tom Thomb (this little bastard is really small)

Big Ben Cadet.

I haven't smoked It yet. It's actually a little small for me. I restored it and it looks great. Not sure what ur looking for but Big Ben Ranger is small and the Big Ben Barbados is small but beefy with nice sized bowl. Then there is the Rolex pipes or u could find a nice opera pipe.

My only small briar, so my favorite by default. I've only smoked it twice, but I haven't had a bad experience yet!
