Caught in the Crossfire
My dad has been in the hospital since Monday morning. He has a severe lung infection and double pneumonia. He has been coughing up blood but seemed to be improving around Wednesday. After talking to him yesterday he seems to be worse again. He couldn’t even talk because of the relentless coughing and had to cut the phone call short. He has and has had a lot of health problems and usually bounces back. This time I’m very worried and he seems like he doesn’t care anymore.
Any prayers and good thoughts would be very much appreciated. I believe that the positive thoughts, prayers and energy from the great and caring family we have here can only help.
I know I’ve been really slack here and haven’t been participating as much as I would like or have in the past. We’ve been going through a rough time for a while now and I’ve been finding hard to put my thoughts and words together but can really used everyone’s support right now. I’ll try not to stay away so long and keep you updated.

My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 heart failure which from what I understand could also be the cause of the pneumonia. That and the underlying lung infection have not responded well to 2 different antibiotics they have given him. They called in a specialist and are in the process of trying another treatment. They also have him on a dopamine iv drip to help with his heart function.
Any prayers and good thoughts would be very much appreciated. I believe that the positive thoughts, prayers and energy from the great and caring family we have here can only help.
