Our family would appreciate all continued prayers... We were told by the doctor this afternoon that her cancer has taken over her blood system and to expect her not to come out of this.

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family, especially your wife. I lost my mother-in-law to cancer a couple years ago. Just be there for your wife every step of the way bro. It goes without saying, but it is going to be a very difficult few months for her and her siblings.

We live in a fallen world and we see the destruction of what it looks like...disease, sickness, death and things of which you have talked about. Prayer is a tool for those who have a relationship with their Creator and it's a special thing to have because of what it gives back. While I certainly will pray for your MIL I pray even harder for her willingness to take the more important step to realize that she have a personal relationship with her Creator so that she will be given that most important ingredient of faith and hope. It's what comes after this life that is more important so we have perspective in what we're here for. I can guarantee you that having that relationship will give you the peace and answers we all seek...nothing worse in life is when we are confronted with adversarial elements with no guidance...answers or peace. Thanks for all of the prayers, wishes and support. Things have gone from bad to worse here, and tomorrow they are going to stop the life support. I will be around but not as active as usual for a while. I need to focus on my family and supporting my wife, kids, and father in law.
