My mother was just diagnosed with skin cancer, and is going in on Monday to attempt to have it removed. If you have a moment, please offer up a prayer for her.

Yep, normally I wouldn't be overly concerned. But we lost my aunt a few years go to the situation. So that has me concerned.

If it makes you feel any better, Three people in my family have been through the Cancer surgeries - Two of them skin, one esophageal... They're all back in the game now, so odds are on your side.

Prayers sent. I'm proactive. My advisor in college was diagnosed with testicular cancer and in four months went from a healthy 170 to 95 lbs before he died. I check myself at least weekly, because that one is a cancer that if caught early is treatable, but most don't notice till too late.
