As far as the maduro's go... I thought the 88 was an improvement, the 888 was fantastic! The cg4 & the MJ12 maddy were not as good as the naturals, but not awful IMO.

I love the corona size - which begs the question... which vitola is better?

I've found that I personally like Dion's blends better in the smaller ring gauges.

If you're looking for full flavor and strength, one would be hard pressed to find a better smoke than Illusione! My favorite still to this day is the HL maduro.....great review!!!

I had problems with the maduro release also. I didn't care for them and I, like you am a big fan. This stick performed and tasted better.

I havent cared for the Maduro releases either.

Everything else though... spot on.

Ive got a line sampler coming from New Havana for the Ultras. Cant wait.
