it was worth it...had a good amount of spice from the peppercorn...the 4+ lbs I brought were devoured quickly without the use of bread..the guys kept dipping it in the bbq sauce.i think i MUST try this. I don't know much about curing meat like this, and I know less about pastrami and other cured meats. But it sure looks good and would certainly make for a good fun project.

Unfortunately i think the extra couple days in the fridge didn't help the texture...next time it steams all day...
