Hey Mark, you may have seen my post about this elsewhere. My kid accidentally put a few drops of tap water in the Puck in his humidor. Should I replace the beads, take further action, or just tell him not to do it again?

Thanks!

Few drops, if you're tap water is decent I personally wouldn't worry about it either.

It shouldn't be a big deal. If he is that worried about it, remove the puck from the humi and let it sit for a week or so as the beads dry out from the ambient RH and then recharge with distilled water.

help support Mark...throw it away and buy another!
Damn, I wish I could agree with this

Suuuurrreeee....the old "my kid" excuse.

Seriously, it would probably take years for the impurities in tap water to clog the pourous nature of the RH Beads, so I wouldn't worry about it bro. I wouldn't recommend doing it any more though if you intend on keeping it for as long as it is intended to last...a lifetime
