QdO Imperiales

I really enjoy the QdO Coronas for a change up but have never tried the Imperiales for some reason... always been interested but just never made it a priority until now. I got a box of Oct 2012's and went against my norm and fired one up now. Wow, what a great cigar! It has the QdO characteristics but is a little more powerful, which is a good thing. I've heard from many people that these are great cigars with some age and I think my box has some legs for the long haul. I can't wait to let these sit to reap the rewards! Get them before they are axed!

I've only had a couple (relatively young), but I absolutely loved them too. Definitely up there on my list for the next box purchase.

Glad you found 'em ...They are great fresh and then killer with 2-3 years on them. Sleeper of a cigar. One of the best deals out there. I love 'em- ! (and they are rolled at Partagas which is a bonus)

I completely agree with all of you. The Coronas have always been great, and lately the Imperiales have been similar and my go-to large cigar. Ryan, are you implying these are on the cut list? I sure hope not. . .:sadcry:

No I have not heard any rumors, but it would not surprise me to see it sooner than later...

While on the topic of qdo's- the corona's are one of my top 3 favorites of current production and strangely I don't think that they were even rolled in 2012. I hope I am wrong but I have not seen one box from last year. Not to thread jack but there is rarely Qdo talk.

I smoked one of these ('12) last night that was recently gifted to me, and I felt like you, Ryan...great cigar fresh. Might have to stash a box of these soon.

I just picked up a 5'er of 2011 from and ISO on OLH a few weeks ago. Haven't smoked one yet, but definitely will burn one in the next few weeks. I've got a great box of 2011 QdO Coronas & if these are anywhere close to those, as it sounds like they will be, then I'll need to figure out a way to make space for a box somewhere in my Vinotemp.
