For me, I can taste most cigars for hours after I'm done. Most I will ever try to do is 2 and that's if I can get the first one in the morning and the second in the afternoon or evening.

I smoke one a day and can tell that when I only smoked one a week I could pick up on more back then than I can now. I think that I even enjoyed a cigar even more with all the anticipation and clean palate.

After a medium to full Dominican, my palate seems to require at least a day of cleansing to fully appreciate the next cigar. I don't seem to have a problem with back-to-back Nicaraguans though, and I rarely smoke more than two.

I agree that I would work up in strength and down in quality if I were to smoke more than one in a single session.

Good POLL, by the way!

I can smoke 2 back to back and not realize much difference, over that yeah the taste buds are kind of dead.

Come herf day, I smoke 7-9 cigars start with something good and from there, just some regular everyday sticks. And then nothing for a week to recover.

I find NC's much harder on my palette then CC's. Smoking well age sticks in Havana I can still be amazed by the 10th stick of the day. For Nc's anything over 3 or 4 and my palette gets pretty numb. Doesn't always mean I stop smoking though.
