  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Need some help and suggestions from some brothers...just got engaged!!! now my question...looking to find a good cigar to give each of my groomsmen as part of the wedding party gifts -that we will all smoke at the rehersal dinner...the ordeal that i have is i want to give everyone the same cigar but one that they all will enjoy. some have more cigar experience than others, some smoke frequently and a couple only smoke on a rare or special occasion...any suggestions on what cigar to choose??? thanks!

To cover all bases, newbie to experienced smoker, I suggest getting something on the milder side.....

Ashton Classic (White Band)
Avo Classic
Macanudo
Cusano 18 (Natural Wrapper)
A. Fuente 8-5-8 (probably the most popular on this site)
Oliva Connecticut

Hopefully that gives you a starting point my friend.

Of the lighter smokes I've had I like

Carlos Torano Casa Torano
Agree with the Arturo Fuente 8-5-8
Zino Classic Series
Nub Conny

Good luck and congrats on the engagement

Wouldn't you like to know?
Monte 4 will never steer you wrong. Might be a little harder to get but works on many levels.

Few cigars have the brand recognition of a real monte
Good medium flavour while mild medium bodied.
Smaller size won't scare off non smokers as much(not sure why you'd let them in the party but that'sjust me:smile:)
The rarity of it to some may make it that extra bit special in the memories

Also what is one of your fav smokes as of now? You also would want to smoke a cigar that you konw that you like. I would think you would like either of the two most mentioned above, however you do not want to get a cigar for this great day and then find out that you do not care for it. If you have time get a handful of smokes that you like the best and then try some of the above mentioned and see which ones you do like best. But Enjoy the day!
