Question about Humidification

I was able to score a Zero Haliburton the other day, and i am super excited..

This unit came with a paradigm humidifer.. I know all I have to do is soak it in distilled water, but is it possible to get the piece too wet? How long before i use the humidifier should i soak it? I havent used a humidifier in a long time, since i now have a cabinet with the set/forget system, i have beads in the desktop..

should i just use the humi-sheet? or can the paradigm provide me with a good solution?

the paradigm should be fine. soak it in distilled water for about 15 minutes. wrap it in a paper towel, shake it a bit, and that should be that.
