Is there such thing as too many Boveda packs? If one is good, would two be better? Would ten be better?

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Question for storing smokes while in the desert.

More packs just mean more ability to adjust rapidly as far as I can tell, so no limit really on the number of packs. I keep 8 in my small wineador with about 120 cigars, that's double what they recommend for a regular 100 count humidor, and they say you can use less in sealed environments, so my overkill just means it gets back to RH faster when I open the door.
I use the wineador for longer term resting, and have some large acrylic jars that I use for cigars I am ready to smoke in the next weeks/months.
This one has a 2 boveda pack holder in it as a divider and source of cedar.

Thanks for all the input. I ordered a hygrometer, two 65% Boveda packs, and a calibration kit. I'm hoping once I get get it calibrated and get the Boveda's in the cigar jar I should be in business. It's pretty frustrating not knowing if the one I'm looking forward to smoking is over/under humidified.

More packs will allow for more rapid correction, as well as longer times between charging. The only potential problem would be if you have ten fully-saturated packs that then experience heat (causing them to put off a lot of extra moisture into the environment), or potentially if you put wet sticks in there, they wouldn't be able to absorb the extra rH. But generally speaking more is better, but also more expensive.
