I'm thinking more of Progressive Pop. I love the band but this breed of mega produced recordings of songs written by professional hit song writers and packaged with 1,000,000 watts of lights and sound with lasers and pyrotechnics just don't remind me of George Jones. I know your point and it technically is country music performed by country artists but it really stopped being country when Poco and the Eagles started doing it.

....but I do love the band.

well, the old adage, "it aint over till the fat lady sings" didn't hold up. she was terrible! fortunately, we didn't go to see her. and Rascal Flatts put on an absolutely fantastic show!! 2 full hours,,, never sat once. high energy from start to finish. a total show!!
