  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Rc racing anyone?

Never heard of thoes ... sounds awsome tho I also want some big bore shocks. I was really blown away how well it did in grass that was 4-6 ". It blew right through it. My kyosho would have been stuck. I bought my son a rc so he could play too.

Hes only 3 but he's getting the hang of it. It has full ball berrings, 4x4 , water proof reciver, oil filled shocks, and a rocket launcher that fires off the 3rd channel. Its great for chasing the dog!

Inside the belly of my tuned pipe on the inlet side there is a screw I imagine this is for the baffle I guess. The screw seemed slightly loose. Is the baffle adjustable? Should I tighten the screw all the way down?

I wasn't watching the nut that holds the exhaust hanger on the back side. Im guessing thats what the other end attaches to. I just didnt want to mess anything up and throw it out of tune. Going to take the kids and the cars to the park tomorrow should be a fun time!

Well got it running pretty decent but the engine temp is only 200 I leaned out my hsn a tad and it ran quite a bit faster but the engine was smoking. But the kicker it was only 220 * . Traxxas says they normally run best set up in the 260-300* range is it possible I need to richen up the lsn? Maybe its starving out now? I was doing a mix of high and low speed driving. Im also thinking of loosening my slipper clutch a tad it grabbed really well in tall slick grass but it was slow to get going on dirt

Give it a try and richen it. If you have a temp gauge take it to it and see if that helps at all. Every single time I go to run mine I have to tweak it.
