Just got that video sent to me. Very very moving piece. Can't believe it's over, 20 years passed. It's been a hell of ride for that guy. Will be missed dearly. Won't be quite the same now that the core are all retired. Sadly, no more Bob Shepherd as well.

Always been a New York baseball fan, just not that team. Great to see players such as Jeter play their entire career for one team. Besides him and Rivera, it has kind of been lost amongst the huge contracts and team owners lack of loyalty to the Franchise player.
Every year since he donned the pinstripes, the Yanks have been the dominant team in baseball. Hopefully with his retirement, that era will come to an end. Fair well Derek, you truly were a one-of-a-kind player.
