Is it Nicaraguan
Fellow Leaf Lovers,
I am posting this because I believe that besides sharing a common bond through our love of the leaf, we are a community of passionate people overall. That said, as a believer that the best tobacco comes from Nicaragua, I submit the links below and I ask that we lift up in prayer those who are impacted by this disaster. Like Katrina for us, this has caused many an issue for these people, many of whom live in abject poverty to begin with.
While there has been no official request for assistance made through any of the National Relief Organizations, perhaps we can show our support (and serve our own indulgences) by buying Nicaraguan cigars. I am certain that the RTDA (or whatever they are known by now...) will if called upon, marshal their resources to support. This is something that we as Brothers of the Leaf can do.
