A lot of other forums I visit have some excellent recipes and I figured we could benefit from sharing our recipes.

----

Mostacholi Casserole ala Hans Howard

6oz water
1 bag of mostacholi pasta
1 can Alfredo sauce
1 can red sauce (I prefer Prego)
1 block Pepper Jack cheese
1 pound Italian sausage
Large casserole dish

This is the perfect munchies food. Anyway, all you need to do is grate the cheese and cut the sausage up then throw it all in the casserole dish and stir. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. You're done. It's good cold too.

----

I made some salmon patties. Excellent stuff.

2 cans Kirkland salmon
6oz Widmer Bros. Hefeweizen
2 egg whites and 1 egg yolk
3/4 stack of Keebler Club crackers
Pinch of seasoning salt

Smash ingredients together in a bowl and then fry in olive oil till a nice brown color. EAT!

Just kidding, I like to make fish cakes too. You can mix in potatoes too, instead of crackers, as well as other yummy stuff.

This is my online cookbook, I started it after the second time I went out of town to visit someone and tried to make them dinner and forgot a couple of ingredients. Try them out, and don't forget to check out the archives. If you make one of those dish's for dinner, and you die of food poisoning, don't come crying to me. :)

(There is a whole "as is" thing in my Food Network contract). ;)

Yes that is a good recipe for a good night.

jason I don't use recipes but rather make them by approximating what I did.

Here's the recepie I use for cooking delicous steaks.

Start with New York strip steaks
Liberally rub Montreal Steak seasoning on both sides
Sear on each side in a frying pan with about 2 tbsp of EVOO for about 30 secs.
Put in them in the oven in a glass cake pan on lo broil about 10" from the broiler until medium
Turn the oven up to hi broil to finish 'em off
Let the steaks rest for about 10mins antd EAT!

If you do it right it will make a $5 piece of meat taste like a $30 steak!

Adult Mac & Cheese:

Gnocchi pasta cooked al dente
1 ball mozzi, grated
1/4 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
Thyme, oregeno, whatever you prefer

Bring cream to slight bubble...not boil!
Add cheese to cream handfull at a time, until melted. You might have to add more cream to cheese until it's smooth and doesn't lump up.

Add herbs to taste. I usually add mine at the same time I add the cheese, but that's just me.

I usually make this for about 4 people. Its really good too.

1 pound of steak tips
2 or 3 tomatoes (chopped)
1 box of mushrooms (sliced or whole , slice up the whole ones)
1/2 an Onion (chopped)
3 Jalapenos (or as many as you think would be good)

Season up the steak tips with Lawrys, some garlic salt, and whatever other seasoning you like on your meat. Add about 1/4 of a small bottle of italian dressing. Put the onions, jalapenos and meat in a covered pan. Move around every 2 or 3 minutes so it wont stick. When the meat is halfway cooked drop in the mushrooms and tomatoes. Once the meat is fully cooked, everything should be ready to eat. Put it a bowl on top of some white rice, and you will be golden.
