Recommend a smooth bourbon

Don't know too much about bourbon...would like to try something without "too" much of an alcohol burn. The smoother the better.

Any recommendations?

Give bulleit bourbon a try.

I don't think it's got too much burn, but then again, I like bourbon, so if it is burning I can't really tell anymore.

I just bought a bottle of Bulleit.. It's pretty darn good for the money. I still prefer makers mark to it just for the flavor.

Woodford's Reserve should work. 1792 is another great one. Bourbon is the best pairing for a cigar, hope you enjoy it! Try it with a good bit of ice at first and then work your way down to just a couple cubes.

Yes, Buffalo Trace Eagle Rare is very good but really hard to find. A good option is Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 20 Year.

Pappy Van Winkle (20yr or 23 yr)

Van Winkle Special Reserve (12yr) is very close and more reasonably priced @ $40.

To me they are ultra smooth, with lots of complex flavor. No burn - just a pleasant warmth.

When I did drink bourbon, brother did I drink it, Blanton's was my go to. Beam Bonded Reserve was a right up there as well.
