  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Fellow Brothers of the Leaf,

Lately I've been smoking and greatly enjoying a lot of Kelner-blended cigars: Davidoff, Griffins, and especially Avo. But alas, all of these are very expensive cigars, and I'm not a rich man, so it's a habit I can't keep up for long. What I'm looking for is a cheaper cigar that has the same elements I've been enjoying: very smooth woody flavour, not too much of a nicotine hit to smoke early in the day, etc.

I love a good full-bodied cigar, but it's these medium-bodied smokes that I keep coming back to. Any recommendations?

Sincerely,

Chris

Bah, that requires willpower. I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too here. Given how many cigar brands there are, it must be possible...

do a goggle search for 3 x 3, 4 x 4, and Private Stock cigars. from what i know, davidoff factories, high end leaf that has cosmetic flaws, so not rolled into premium cigars. this flawed LEAF IS ROLLED INTO seconds, and shipped to retailers. so you wont have a true blended cigar, and it wont e aged like a davidoff. i know some guys who love them, and they are about $3.http://www.bestcigarprices.com/3-x-3-cigars/

Yeah, those Private Stock aren't bad at all -- my b&m sells them -- and they have some similarities to the Davidoffs as far as being the same kind of woody/grassy flavor profile....but they're nowhere near as refined or as expertly blended.

Worth trying for sure.
