I tried it, got abou half way through the campaign. Got tired of riding forever to get somewhere to do one thing and then ride forever back. Loved playing online with friends especially against the bad guy bots at the villages.

But I traded it while it was still worth something to get black ops.

Make sure you go off the path and setup a campsite and you can quick nav to and fro so that you don't have to do this, does help quite a bit to not have to ride everywhere.
