Reducing oral cancer!

Hey guy's! what's up? what's down? (NOT in that way!, i have gotten that a few times). Hope everyone is awesome, as usual! xD

I have a very interesting "news" here... I was reading an article 'bout tongue's and got to a point where it said "stains", it talked 'bout how medicine, food and tobacco (chewing and smoking tobacco) stains your tongue and that you should clean your tongue AFTER smoking or chewing tobacco! Make sure your tongue is back to a pink-ish and not brown-ish, like that you'll know that you got it off your tongue...

That makes sense. I almost always brushmy teeth and rinse my mouth afterwards. It may not reduce cancer risks but it helps keep your mouth from tasting and smelling like crap.:bouncetau

I use a tongue scraper and tongue spray to clean my tongue every night as part of my before-going-to-bed oral hygiene.

I don't do it for anti-cancer reasons tho; I do it because my wife says I have to. :lady:

I mean... long time ago, i had a bf that smoked cigarettes and i just hated the taste and the smell, i obligated him to buy 100000000000 mints, it's just not right :barf:

I use tounge scrapper every time I brush me teeth. I somehow can gather dirt there too easily, and it can look bloody nasty if I don't clean me tongue often.

Actually, she *IS* a cigar fan. She even smokes them herself on occasion (and has 20+ sticks stored in my humi).

But regardless of her being a fan or not, she still has the right to make me

Weird as it is I use a plastic butter knife as a tongue scraper since I use Swedish snus more often than I do smoking cigars but i do agree Alc is a good cleaner in most cases

It does a HELLUVA lot more than brushing. One use of a tongue scraper and you'll see how much gunk you've been missing before. :timebomb:

That's true for cervical cancer and some ovarian cancers...I don't believe HPV is the primary cause of oral cancer. But my wife's the OB/GYN, not me, so I'll ask her when she get's home

I'm pretty sure drinking hard alchohol actully increases the risk of oral cancer.:crytears: Atleast we can die happy!
