anybody use them?

I bought a $25 coupon for $4. We use it at a local Sushi joint. 2 sushi dinners with Cokes cost $40, less the $25 coupon. So we wind up spending about $26 with tax and tip.

My wife and I use them from time to time. They're nice when you get them for $4 every so often. What I don't like is the automatic gratuity because I like leaving cash tips for my waiters/waitresses so they don't have to claim as much. I know it's to protect them in a way because then they automatically get tipped on the $40 instead of the $15 discounted price.

Sometimes the more exclusive restaurants in your area offer coupons but you have to check at a specific time of the month for when they are first offered. My wife got good at it but I think we're out of the coupons at the moment. We buy $20-$30 when the site runs the massive discount on coupons.

I've used them with quite a bit of success in the past. Ever heard of Ebates.com? They allow you to connect to outside sites, but in return you get extra discounts and cash back. I've had times where I've gotten $100 in Restaurant.com coupons for only $15 and gotten cash back when ebates sends out a check.

Never anything good in my area but I assume it is a great deal in bigger cities.
