RIP Gregg Allman

I grew up listening to the Allman Brothers. They've got a special place in my heart due to charished memories of listening to Allman Brothers records with my grandpa when I was a kid. I had tickets to see Greg Allman at the Georgia Theatre June 14th. For those unfamiliar, the Georgia Theatre is a historic music venue in Athens, Georgia where many iconic musicians have laid their notes: B-52s, Wide Spread Panic, REM, etc. It's a smallish venue and seeing Gregg Allman play there was a bucket list item for me that unfortunately will not be fulfilled. In rememberance, I've been jamming all weekeng to album after album. RIP Gregg Allman (12/8/47 to 5/27/17).

Wasn't a huge Allman Bros fan, but I hate that he is gone. Losing a bunch of important rockers lately.

Damn shame.. That would have been a really cool show, I hear the theater is always a jamming venue! He'll be sorely missed..
