Sad news for sure, Arnold Palmer was a hero of my father and I heard a lot about him growing up. He was the grandfather of modern golf and his passing leaves a giant void in the golf world, may he rest in peace.

I live about 35 min from Latrobe. I remember when I was maybe 12 or 13 a local museum had an exhibit that was every trophy of his they could get a hold of including like Westmoreland county stuff he won in high school up to some of the big time tournaments.

Spent a good few hours with my dad there looking at everything and watching the video presentations and stuff. Pretty awesome.

A very sad day in golf as well as baseball today. I never got to see him golf, but speaking with others who have they spoke highly of him and the way he played the game. Golf truly lost a legend.

As great a golfer as he was, 62 tournaments and 7 majors, he will be remembered more for the warmth and kindness he showed to the fans.
