  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

You offered to give the Palio away before. I will take it of your hands if you are still offering. :D
Lol what about a trade? You have any smokes in your humidor to convince me there is something better than my cohiba siglo IVs?

Lets do business! Lol

See this is why I ask these questions.... What to do what to do? Jfire... What's you're opinion cutters?
My opinion would be to click on the tips and tricks link on my signature line. Watch the video I made(specifically for this reason) discussing cutter choices and make your decision.

I have a palio and another one and a xikar one that looks like a palio and a xikar other one that's all metal and another one that's all plastic. I have a few cheap ones, two punches and various knives at home that I've used because I couldn't find (or didn't want to go look for) said cutters.

They cut the cigar and I smoke them. if I mess up a cigar, I go get another one.

I've never had a bad cut off my Palio, wouldn't consider using anything different

So today is a tragic day my cutter broke. I've had the ol girl for 3 years. Not sure on the brand. Figure it's time for a new one. What are the good ones I should get? Any help is appreciated

meant to mention earlier..you can likely salvage this cutter...

if you look into the end of the cutter where the blade would insert into the body... there is a little flexible tab in there that you should be able to see...

take a nail or the tip of a knife.. and slightly bend that tab in, towards the middle of the cutter...

then slide the blade back into the body.. it should "click" and be right back into service..

pulling the blades out of these types of cutters is actually a pretty common malfunction.. the tab is in my experience the most common culprit (it bends on the metal ones.. and breaks on the cheap plastic ones..)..

Love my Xikar. Can't go wrong with either that or palio

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk 2 because, you know, I love Tapatalk 2.
Sorry didn't read all the post on this but agree on either of these. You can fix that cutter though. I have a cheap one like that, that pulls apart from time to time. I just snap it back in place.
