Robusto or Toro?

These days, smoking time is my primary factor. A robusto is pushing it, usually, and I seldom smoke anything larger.

I usually prefer a robusto size. I rarely smoke churchills just because of time constraints, but the toro's make a good smoke too. I have a smattering of robusto and toro for that reason.

I also like a little bigger RG, I would select the Robusto.

I generally like the thicker gauges myself, but the length doesn't matter much...

Still going with the Toros, though, double entendre aside. Time is not an issue, and the gauge difference is minimal.

This is an interesting question and it all comes down to preference. Even though it's the most popular size out there, I personally don't care much for robusto. I tend towards toro sized cigars most of the time.

For me, it's always a case of the bigger the better, except when time is a factor.

toro for:
a windy outdoor herf, larger crowd, with lighter blend, darker wrapper with closed foot, under night lights.

robusto for:
indo personal sessions, with stronger blends, toothier wrapper with pigtails, ideally
under soft lamplight with hard spirits.

this changes with season and mood.
