I've never been a big fan of Rocky Patel cigars. I've never understood the hype.
But today I tried a Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 that's been sitting in my humidor for 6 months. True to form, it started out harsh, but about 1/3 of the way, it settled down into a wonderful, enjoyable smoke, with lots of cedar taste. I really enjoyed it. I'm glad to admit I've changed my mind about Patel cigars, and will gladly give them another chance.

I have not been smoking cigars all that long, but the Patels have always been good for me. They are a bit long though, so it takes quite a while for me to smoke one of them.

These are a good smoke from what I remember. There are a lot of cigars I just haven't had in a long time. This is one of them.

Those age relatively fast, I don't know if I have any left. I posted a picture on Cbid of some of these. Smoked one few weeks ago had a nice sparkle to it.

Just could not get into this cigar. Tried the 90 and the 92 and gave them all away. To each his own.

I've had a few of the vintage 1990. I don't know. Fairly tasty, I wouldn't describe it as loaded with Vitamin N but it gets the job done.

I don't see it as being special or note worthy. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get any.
