Roku 3

Ok so I picked up a Roku 3 yesterday, and was looking to see what folks best set up for free/ cheap viewing options. If all goes well we are going to pick up a HD TV receiver and get rid of cable. And is there any (jail breaking) options to look at too, or any other suggestions.
