Okay well I ended up doing some remedial work to this beer. My fermentation stalled out at 1038 but now it's down to 1018 and it's done. I'm at 15.1% ABV it's bottling time!

Correction it's ONLY 14.5%abv haha.

Yum, sounds tasty. Maybe it's because I'm currently downing an Old Rasputin, but I can just imagine how good it is...:drool:.

All this talk about RIS, has me jonesing for Dark Lord Days. April 24th can't get here fast enough.

This stuff is good. I only am about through half of it and I'm feeling it. It has a strong alcohol flavor right now (duh it's 14.5%) but it should mellow out NICELY for the holidays as a strong ass winter warmer. Not bad for what I think was my second or third brew hahah. I jumped in the deep end for sure when I did this beer.

Wow, looks awesome! Sounds like a really big beer. You should do a side by side with some other IRS' to see how yours compares. Great style to brew!
