  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hello all, Any of you that have read on the Forum here you can see I have a new Favorite pipe, a Savinelli. So i was looking around at other Savinelli pipes and seen there was some tobacco also by Sav that I haven't tried and sounds very tasty. 1 ever so slight issues is the ones that sounds like I would like are only sold in 3.5oz Tin and the Price of 16 to almost 20 for this Tins I would like to know if there are others that have tried them already? Did you like them? Would you buy them again? Do you smoke them on normal Rotation?

Savinelli Doblone D'Oro (Most Interested)

Savinelli Brunello Flake (Next)

Savinelli Essenza Cipriota (Lastly)

Thank you
James

I don't have experience with baccy, but if you decide to buy one you should look in to using a Groupon for BnB Tobacco. Buy the $100 Groupon for $49 dollars, use that to buy a ~$100 Savinelli pipe, and right now they're still throwing in a free tin of Savinelli baccy with each Savinelli Pipe purchase.
So, $16-20 for a tin, or ~$50 for a new pipe AND a tin.

You can also work it to get further discounts and/or free shipping.

Ok Thank you for the info. Yeah problem with me when I am sent something to smoke I open and smoke. Only closed tins right now are ones I have double of. Seeing I smoke a lot it isn't really a problem of open tobaccos. 22 blends open right now only 4 closed Tins. I don't cellar tobacco because it is always under fire. There are a couple I will be out of in the next day or 2, Have 6 more tins that should have been here today, looks like by tracking tomorrow. Tobaccos I haven't tried so it will get opened. With tobacco if there is an amount that I feel I can't smoke in a timely manner I will put it in Canning jars. Most that is coming is straight VA aged some. One of the Tins is over 4 years in the person cellar. 2 are 1 1/2 and 3 are 6mo old. Then some tag a longs in baggies, Not sure how many but I bought a couple Aromatic Unknown to me what and then a couple as Thank you. Just love it when tobacco arrives it is like Christmas LOL. With me I have been smoking Pipe and Cigars for 25 years but most times in tobacco it was only CB White or Velvet and PA on most days. Every now and again when I would buy cigars I would get a pound or two of the B&M blends the owner would blend in the back. I just started buying off the internet back in 2009 after I moved away from WA where I could find B&M every few miles. Where I live now there isn't any so only thing I can do is drive more miles then I care to. Or buy online. So what I am saying I am still in the Trying out stages. So far Hearth & Home seems to be a great tobacco for my burning. With all the options out there Looks like I have a long time of trying out to go lol.
