I really wish the gov. were smart enough to differenciate between cigars and cigerettes.
Its going to get to the point where we wont be able to smoke cigars anymore. Damn gov.

I read that the max will be 40 cents a stick. The original bill was to be $4.00 a stick! Retailers are gonna have to pay the tax for every cigar in their inventory.

From what I read, the tax on existing cigar inventories was dropped.

It was dropped for large cigars but kept for everything else.

The proposal was for it to go into effect in April of this year, haven't heard the final word.
