I want to try some new music -- and this is doesn't exclusively mean new artists, new songs by some known artists work, too -- and I'm drawing a serious blank. my problem is that I'm, and have been, on a serious rap and hip-hop kick for a year. unfortunately, I can't be spinning this type of music at the office. my work friendly tunes have yielded favorable results, mainly from the girls that work for me.
here's an idea of the majority of the artists/songs I've been listening to for the past two weeks [artist -- song title]:
james blunt -- fall at your feet
howie day -- daniel (yes, elton john cover)
ben gibbard -- the dream of evan and chan, recycled air
ben harper -- beloved one
damien rice -- cannonball
I tend to favor acoustic versions over the studio pieces. lets see what you got.
