I've got an opportunity to pick up shaun alexander but I have to give up Rudi Johnson to do it...not sure how much of a gamble this is worth

any thoughts?

I wouldn't. He may be out a while and Rudi is a good back, top 5 IMO.

Even in a keeper league, I personally would look at the teams QB situation, and seeing Palmer vs. Hasselback in the next few years, I would rather have somebody as a RB for a Palmer led team than a Hasselback led team..
