  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Whats the proper/best way to ship some hooch? Id like to include some with some cigars Im sending. Do i just wrap it and bubble it up and throw it in the box with the smokes?

I've done it a bit - do make sure you double bag (ziploc) everything b/c bottles do sometimes break. A well packed, full box will usually make it through. If a broken bottle soaks through the box it won't be delivered.

Fortunately, NC doesn't, right Larry? haha. Guess I lucked out there.

I bubble wrap booze and then would suggest putting it into a second separate box inside the main box that you're sending, and packing peanut the whole works. Oh, and zip loc anything that would be affected by liquid should the bottle break.

It's not that big of a deal. Bubble wrap it good and send it through UPS. USPS gets suspicious of things that go "glug" as most bottles do.

Whenever I mail any liquids, including hootch, I use my vacum sealer and good quality foodsaver bags. If it's a glass bottle, I double bag it.
