Here's something I found, food, drink and cigars....
Situated on exclusive Kaiserstraße, Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof is home to one of the finest gourmet restaurants in Germany, Restaurant Français. The magnificent 19th-century neo-Renaissance building is one of the few surviving remainders of the beautiful Altstadt (Old Town) and has attracted numerous famous names over the years, including the philosopher Schopenhauer who was a regular lunchtime guest. The timelessly elegant interior exudes a laid-back, cosmopolitan ambiance; the conference rooms are almost always full. The complex includes Oscar's bistro, a bar, several boutiques, and a specialist cigar shop and Havana Lounge, the exclusive smokers' club.
From what I know, they are having problems with Habanos on this and are considering other companies to brand the location with....No more info other than that.Hi Tony,
I'm not sure, but I thought one of my friends in Germany was telling me that they have opened or were going to open a La Casa Del Habano in Frankfurt. I'm not sure if its been opened or not though. I hope you have a great trip!
Yeah, they will loose the CdH designation. It´s not clear whether the hop will continue to exist. From what I know, they are having problems with Habanos on this and are considering other companies to brand the location with....No more info other than that.

Note: hosting a swinger party in a CdH is not THAT great an idea.
As to smoking in Frankfurt: The Steigenberger is nice, but also rather pricey. We have fixed prices on cigars in germany, but Restaurants/bars can charge a service fee on top of that!
Well, any shop has to charge the fixed price by law. Only bars or restaurants may charge an additional service fee on top of that.Is there a cigar store in Frankfurt that you know of that would charge the fixed prices?
Hope this helps,Wolsdorff Tobacco GmbH
