Just got these in the mail. When I opened the box of cigars there was a translucent green critter living in there. Tiny but worrisome. I inspected all the smokes and didn't see any signs of beetles, so maybe that wasn't even a beetle and he was just along for the ride?

Are cigar beetles translucent green when babies? This box is from 2013 so I'd imagine they'd have worked their magic by now... Regardless, their gonna spend 4 nights in the freezer.

Any ways, thanks for the indirect rec on these @sofc

Google Wood Mites. That'd be my guess without seeing them. Annoying, but harmless to the cigars.
