BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I spent a few weeks there on multiple occasions in the early to mid 90's working with AFSOC guys..

I was assigned to 919th Special Operations Group.
Weapons Systems Specialist for AC-130 Gunship. From July 91 till mid 90's
I was at 2/20th SFG(A) during that timeframe... Did a couple of short stints in your neck of the woods training with the AC130's (call for fire exercises, etc), working with CCT, etc...

Heres is mine the top two i bought another a friend gave me a few months back. The middle is my most treasured as you'll see in the next pic.
Zippo closed its Niagara Falls Factory down in July 2002 this lighter was made in Feb of 02. I'm not sure how long after Feb they kept making but i still think its pretty cool.

Not sure if anyone still looks at this thread but here is my EDC.
This little guy was carried by a family friend at the D-Day invasion. It also went on two tours in Afghanistan with my neighbors son. I figured if it made it through the beaches at Normandy certainly it could be good luck to my neighbors son. He came home safely twice and brought my lighter back both times. The lighter will remain with me now. I have the original insert but I use it with a butane torch insert.
