Love the Eagle Rare.
I've graduated from Buffalo Trace. Sipping on it right now and it's awesome. Definitely my favorite bourbon I've tried yet.
I picked this up for my wife, she drinks the flavored moonshines which are corn whiskey but basically fermented high fructose corn syrup with artificial flavors.
I have tried to get her to drink bourbon but she only likes Pappy lot B. And I am not sharing that other than a special occasion.
I have a Leopold brothers rye coming in early next week so I thought I would try this flavored whisky.
Damn this is good stuff. A little too sweet but you definitely know your drinking whiskey. The finish is like taking a bite from an apple. She liked it as well I only tasted it, I would likely cut it with straight rye or bourbon to knock down the sweetness a bit.
