Just landed a 5'er from CigAuctioneer... anyone have any advice on how long I should let these guys rest before I smoke 'em? I've never had one, but enjoyed all the other DPG stuff I've had (Blue, Black, Tat VI, etc...)

I smoked one ROTT and it was fine. Of course, at the time it wasn't 100 degrees outside. I'd say a week should be safe.

smoked one off the truck, and then my second just now... much better with a little age on it. more pepper, it seemed.

I haven't smoked a single DPG blend that I've disliked.

Is this something I should just go ahead and purchase a box of?

You can probably cut at least $20 off that price if you buy on the auction.

Yeah, or check out the Monster from time to time. I've seen them as low as $60 I think...
